Business Development Representative- UK & Ireland Market  
Location: Dublin, Ireland  

A Business Development Representative at BMC Software is responsible for the generation and assigning of high quality opportunities to the Field Sales Organization working in a fast paced, metrics driven, environment. Business Development Representatives collaborate with the Field Sales Team to build a territory plan, to get set up for success and drive revenue by connecting with customers and building opportunities that will make all parties more successful. This involves prospecting at C-level, VP and Director Level. Attending organized quarterly Sales and Technical training held by the BMC University Department.

Ideal Qualities We Seek & How You’ll Put Them to Use:  

  • Fluent in English essential 
  • Proven track record of accomplishments and over-achievement of goals in software or IT Sales 
  • Working with a team-based model in Outside rep and other resources for geographic region 
  • Ability to uncover business pain and handle objections 
  • University degree or relevant experience 
  • Outbound sales experience in a corporate environment desirable. 
  • Highly competitive streak
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • University degree or relevant experience  

The Experience You’ll Bring:  

  • Proven track record of accomplishments and over-achievement of goals in software sales or IT Sales 
  • Outbound sales experience in a corporate environment desirable. 
  • Negotiating skills is an advantage 
  • Experience with Strategic Selling 
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets/verticals and developing new business 
  • Proven record of accomplishment and over-achievement of goals 
  • Working within a team-based model with Outside  Rep and Tech Engineers for set geography
