Description and Requirements

This position is responsible for leading the EMEA Field Marketing team, building integrated programs to increase market awareness of key solutions, create deeper relationships with our customers and build pipeline in support of revenue goals – direct and indirect. The marketing strategy and plan are to include both traditional and modern digital marketing techniques and strategies and will include measurements on overall marketing contribution to pipeline and ROI. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in Field Marketing for the EMEA markets, a track record in building Field Marketing Teams in software/SaaS/Cloud technology companies, proven experience with Account Based Marketing to B2B companies, a proven track record of strong leadership skills, high integrity and will thrive in a fast-paced matrixed environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the EMEA team to set and execute the marketing strategy for their assigned area, in close collaboration with sales leadership and other corporate and solution marketing teams. Develop localized 1:1, 1: few, and 1:many sales and marketing initiatives for different account segments that focus on three major objectives – build pipeline, accelerate pipeline and nurture relationships with high-propensity targeted executives and accounts (ABM)
  • Manage a team of Field Marketing Managers located across EMEA
  • Be a strategic partner to area sales leaders and the rest of the ecosystem, ensuring plans and goals align with key leadership functions including sales management, solutions marketing, product pillar revenue goals, brand, etc. Ability to dynamically adapt to changes in both the various markets BMC solutions address and corporate strategy
  • Develop and drive the team to support global initiatives with localized focus and input
  • Work closely with corporate marketing and communications teams to maximize campaign effectiveness, including identification of speaking opportunities
  • 12+ years related marketing experience, in an enterprise Software/Cloud/SaaS company
  • 5+ years management experience, managing individuals located across EMEA
  • Strong understanding and multi-year marketing experience in the assigned regions
  • Keen understanding of the enterprise software sales cycle with an audience mix of C-level IT and senior line-of-business buyers
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong Leadership and management skills, results driven, teamwork oriented and customer focused
  • Analytical and process skills
  • Resourceful, creative problem solver and self-directed
  • Effective time management and conflict resolutions skills
  • 25% travel requirement
