The BMC Software Order Services Coordinator is responsible for:  

  • Order processing - validating and entering orders to ensure data accuracy, insuring all required documentation is present; review for proper revenue allocation  
  • Data Maintenance – identifying/maintaining customer inventory; work with extended teams on data integrity; provide various reports 
  • Recognition of Revenue - understanding and complying with revenue recognition rules 
  • Invoicing - validate and review revenue orders for invoicing; understand the rules of tax and VAT; provide customer invoices; creating support credits 
  • Audits – Conduct audits for revenue and non-revenue orders for proper booking and allocation; contract updates 
  • Workload Balance – ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities 
  • Ability to meet deadlines; work in a fast paced, ever changing environment; to grasp and learn concepts quickly  
  • Being part of a Team who works well under pressure

Requirements
  • Some College or High school diploma; Minimum one year in a customer support or sales support role  
  • Microsoft Office PC related skills required; Previous enterprise application software experience preferred  
  • Experience with Oracle and Sales Force applications a plus
  • Work long hours during month and quarter end close
  • Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus
