Summary

The GOSI COE SE Manager is the Senior leader of the GOSI PreSales COE Practice. They possess enterprise architect background and certification (e.g. TOGAF) and comfortably interact as peers to GOSI Enterprise Architects, Vice Presidents, CTO’s, Practice Leaders, etc. They are called upon to represent BMC on matters related to enterprise architecture, technology strategy, and the value of BMC’s solutions.

They lead a team of GOSI COE Architects and ensure that each Architect has established and implements tactical and strategic strategies with select GOSI partners in conjunction with GOSI Sales and PreSales. They mentor and lead the team to ensure senior level technical and business acumen that advances (1) BMC’s strategic position within GOSI partner offerings to ensure adoption of BMC solutions within the technology stacks of GOSI COE offerings and (2) advancement of joint BMC-GOSI Partner go-to-market offerings. The manager is responsible for tracking and reporting pipeline generation, revenue attainment and overall financial value to the GOSI business as a result of the teams performance.

The GOSI COE PreSales SE Manager regularly engages with GOSI technology and industry executives and leadership to clearly align BMC and GOSI COE goals.

Planning & Alignment

  • Responsible for global COE strategy planning
  • Prioritizes and focuses resources to leverage time effectively
  • Work with PreSales SE and VE leadership to maintain strategic view of GOSI’s global business and the impact COE’s have on that business (new, renewal, SLA, indirect)
  • Ensure team delivery of solution roadmaps, maturity assessments, reference architecture design, competitive differentiation exercises and development of executive-level, value bases selling deliverables

Strategic Insight

  • Leads creation and implementation of best practices and methods of engaging with GOSI COE’s and development of strategic relationships
  • Possess prior experience as a leader within a Global Outsourcer or System Integrator (preferably within a Center of Excellence)
  • Lead & mentor GOSI COE Architects (India with EMEA/NA in the future) making time to review and discuss strategic plans, associated documentation next steps.
  • Performs evaluation of team to include overall job performance, revenue alignment/influence, go-to-market offering announcements, quarterly bonus ratings and MBO assignment/tracking.

  • Development and tracking of team enablement plans to ensure Sr. level enterprise and BMC architect level expertise and written and verbal communication skills
