Global Services Staff Sales Ops Analyst

Job Description :

The ideal candidate will be able to work strategically and effectively with a team to support the planning, development, and execution of reporting and data analytics solutions for the BMC Global Services Organization.The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background, specializing in reporting, analytics, and data visualization, as well as a working understanding of financial metrics, KPIs, and business drivers.This role requires communication and collaboration with many departments and geographies.


  • Development of new reporting solutions for BMC Global Services
  • Build reporting solutions based on requirements and guidance from global Operations and Customer Success teams
  • Meet with business stakeholders and executives to define requirements for reporting, analytics, and dashboard solutions
  • Guide stakeholders in the determination of the most effective BI reporting solutions
  • Develop, test, and deploy reports and dashboards to the BMC Global Services team
  • Maintenance of existing reporting solutions
  • Monitor and administer existing suite of reports and dashboards used in BMC Global Services
  • Maintain existing report distributions
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues

Required Skills & Experience:

  • BS/BA/MBA degree with 4-9 years experience.
  • Very strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Expertise in multiple BI reporting tools
  • Knowledge of MicroStrategy, and/or Tableau is a plus, but not required
  • Business analytical experience within a highly dynamic corporate environment with Sales, Professional Services and Finance organizations
  • Very detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with peers and upper management
  • Solid customer service experience in a professional corporate environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational/project management skills
  • Quick learner and a team player
  • Self-starter who is willing and able to take initiative.
