Position Description:
“Digital Service Management is building its “first set” of new cloud-based applications,  on their true SaaS ready Cloud platform “Innovation suite”.
Business Workflows is the first of its kind, which offers a generic framework to develop any “line of business” application- be it HR case management or Facilities case management or any other line-of-business like Legal, Marketing, etc..
It also leverages the “integration service” to offer easy integration capabilities to existing BMC products as well as other 3rd party products.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Cloud native applications based on Java/J2EE best practices and web standards.
  • Participate in all aspects of product development, from requirements analysis to product release.
  • Lead features and participate in architecture and design reviews.
  • Design enterprise applications using agile methodology. This includes creating detailed design using UML, process flows, sequence diagrams, and pseudo-code level details ensuring solution alignment.
  • Responsible for delivery of high quality enterprise software releases to aggressive schedules. 
  • Ability to participate on empowered virtual teams to deliver iteration deliverables, manages projects within scope of responsibility and drives the technical direction of the product.
  • Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and stay up-to-date with competing technologies and passionate about adapting technology to provide business-benefiting solutions balancing with platform limitations
  • Provides complete documentation in the form of commented code, problem status information, and design documents.

Qualifications:
  • 7 - 9  years of development experience with atleast 4  yrs of AngularJS 
  • Experience in designing and developing SaaS/cloud applications, DevOps, and full software development life cycle
  • Expertise with unit/integration testing, test driven development and related modern best practices/technologies
  • Excellent understanding of web technologies HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery
  • Experience with web servers and app servers, internals of browsers and standards compliance of different browsers (IE/FireFox/Chrome)
  • Experience with AngularJS, Jasmine, UI Bootstrap, SASS, Compass, Bourbon, Grunt, Karma
  • Experience with server-side issues such as caching, clustering, persistence, security, SSO, state management, high scalability/availability and failover a plus
  • Excellent communication skills: demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Must have strong decision-making skills; take-charge personality, and the ability to drive a plan to completion
