Description and Requirements


This role is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of our production and back-office systems including bmc.com and related web properties. The ideal candidate has an understanding of web content management systems, domain experience working in a marketing or web operations environment, and experience working alongside sibling web functions, such as development. This role will report to the Manager of Web Operations.


  • Author and publish content in Adobe Experience Manager and WordPress.
  • Perform various operational duties for BMC Communities and for similar marketing technologies.
  • Balance planned project and unplanned change request work.
  • Coordinate online production and content changes across a variety of web applications.
  • Execute the production and publishing of translated and other non-English content across web properties.
  • Influence content governance through content audits, normalization of content, and standards definition.
  • Work directly with developers, project managers, QA, and management to achieve business goals and imbue quality in to our operational output.
  • Function as an operational liaison to our marketing partners.
  • Find and enact process improvements to deliver all of the above items more efficiently.


  • 3 or more years of experience in Marketing or Web Operations
  • 2 or more years of experience with an enterprise CMS (Adobe Experience Manager proficiency is a strong plus)

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to author HTML and experience with CSS and JS
  • Ability to efficiently communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues including individuals at multiple levels of the organization
  • Experience working with a geographically dispersed and culturally diverse team
